Our area is the first stop on the largest migration corridor in North America. Virtually all the land north of us is forest. The rich agricultural belt that spreads south begins at Timberlost Outfitting. The location is PERFECT for goose and duck hunting. Each year the sky fills with migrating waterfowl eager to replenish their energy stores. The sheer numbers of ducks and geese is truly something to witness. Canada Goose hunting and Snow Goose hunting is typically in the morning over fields. Duck hunting (or grouse hunting) is usually in the afternoon. Our waterfowl guides have access to hundreds of square miles of the best Canada goose hunting and duck hunting in Saskatchewan. Having grown up along side the farmers in the area we have a healthy relationship with the them and have access to thousands of acres of prime hunting. All of our Waterfowl hunts are 3 days of hunts so you will get 3 morning goose hunts and two afternoons of duck hunting for $1795 (that includes everything except pickup in Saskatoon and licenses). We recommend you rent a 4x4 vehicle because that vehicle will also be used for transportation from the lodge to the hunting area. The hunter will drive to our hunting lodge the night before the hunt for supper and get the licenses all straighten out and start hunting the next morning. (We can organize a group of guys to rent a vehicle together so it cuts down on costs). View our waterfowl photos | Download waterfowl supply list and hunting package info

Secure your spot with Timberlost Outfitting whitetail deer hunt, black bear hunt, or waterfowl hunt by depositing money through PayPal. Important Notice: Please do not put a deposit down before you talk to me about openings.
- Please remember that a passport will be required to travel to and from Canada
- Also Note: If you have had an impaired driving charge you could be refused entry into Canada. Permits are available but they take several months to process
- It is most convenient if you are able to fly into Saskatoon the night before your pick up
- Pick up time is at 9:00am Sunday morning from the Sandman Hotel
- There are discounted rates for Timberlost hunters at the Sandman Hotel
- The Sandman Hotel phone number is 877.477.4844
- Outward flights are to be booked for the day following the hunt, as there may be time constraints on getting back to Saskatoon on the Saturday evening
- Supply lists are available to download in PDF format
- There is a $1,000.00 kill fee on any buck that does not gross score 140 B&C points. This rule does not apply to anyone that is over 70 years old, or has never shot a deer with us. After all, everyone has to start somewhere, and you have to walk before you can run. If there is a broken point the deer will be given credit for it (same as matching point on the other side)
- When you shoot a deer or bear, unload your gun
- You must wear your colors at all times if you are hunting with a rifle! The law is your jacket has to be white, red or orange and a red or orange hat. You can wear camo pants or whatever you want
- You have to get out of your tree stand ½ hour after sunset. The times will be posted at camp
- If you shoot at a deer or bear and it runs off, DO NOT try to follow it. Mark the spot where you last saw the animal
- Even if you think you missed, please tell us about the shot. We will go with you and make sure it is a clean miss
- If you draw blood on the animal and we don't find it your hunt is over. If you still want to hunt more there will be a fee
- Do not urinate out of your tree stand! Regardless of what you may have read on this subject, it does not increase your odds of killing a big buck. We will supply a bottle for you to use
Remember “Let Em Go Watch Em Grow”
Scent
- No smoking in or around any of our tree stands
- No spitting tobacco in tree stands – if you have to chew please use a bottle
- Do not use any shaving cream or cologne
- Use scent free soap and shampoo only
Sound
- Do not use AM/FM radios. You need your ears for the deer
- Do not use two-way radios unless you need assistance.
- Remember that silence is golden and especially when that BIG BUCK is standing 30 yards behind you listening
Good Luck!
