Everything You Need to Know About Travel Rules in Saskatchewan

Canada has updated their domestic travel rules/guidelines recently due to the ongoing pandemic and the rise of the Omicron variant of COVID-19. Residents of Saskatchewan and the surrounding areas will have to keep an eye on the changes, but even residents across the country should be keeping themselves up-to-date if they’re looking to travel domestically.

Since Timberlost Outfitting relies on visitors and travelers from around the country, this may have an impact on us. We need to make sure we’re following the rules and guidelines that are put in place, so we can provide proper enjoyment and services to our customers.

International Travel Guidelines

If you’re coming to visit from another country, please note that it is only allowed with discretionary travel by fully vaccinated travelers who meet entry requirements. Here is some information for entering into Canada during this time. For American hunters coming into Saskatchewan, you’ll have to get a negative PCR test or a rapid test before entering the country.

You must take a molecular test within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time of your flight to Canada.

If you have a connecting flight:

  • The test must be taken within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time of your last direct flight to Canada.
  • Check for scheduling the test in your transit city

For hunters driving over the border, you’ll have to complete pre-entry testing and ArriveCAN requirements.
